Pikeville is located in the southeastern part of Kentucky where 4 major highways: US 23, RT 460, 119 and 80 all intersect. An estimated 38,000 vehicles pass the intersection of US 23 and 119 daily (KY Department of Highway). Future plans for I-66 will include Pikeville in an exciting new interstate project spanning across Kentucky and the United States.
Pikeville is the county seat to Pike County, the largest county in Kentucky. There are about 6,500 residents within the City of Pikeville limits and approximately 70,000 residents in Pike County.
