This park is a mecca for outdoor recreation enthusiasts.  Hambley Mini Park is located adjacent to Pikeville High School.  Facilities include a swimming pool, a teen center building, a football field, tennis courts, softball fields and a playground for small children.  In addition to a spacious covered picnic shelter, several picnic tables and grills are located on the riverbank of the Big Sandy.  Horseshoe pitching, fishing, and canoeing are enjoyed here.
